Bio

Taurus (Perry Fisher) hails from South Africa and has been playing the piano from the tender age of 7. He trained classically at the National School of the Arts in Johannesburg, and is largely self-taught in the jazz idiom. His music mixes South African, European classical, and modern jazz fusion elements, to create a unique sound that transcends cultural boundaries.
After graduating high school, Taurus decided to enter into the world of commerce, working as a Mathematics teacher, and later as an investment banker. Years later he would eventually heed the call to return to his first love: music.
